Welcome to my website! As your state representative I do my best to respond to the needs of the District and to the needs of vulnerable people across the state—whether children at risk of school failure without an early learning boost or seniors struggling to pay for their medications on a fixed income. As an independent, progressive voice for working families and stronger communities, I will continue to fight for you in Springfield.

Your support in the February primary gave me more than just a win; it was a resounding victory. More than 80% of you voted to send me back to Springfield. I hope that you’ll come out again in November, vote for me—and vote for President of the United States. If you’re not yet registered, there’s still time. You can find voter registration forms in the Useful Links section of this website. We also plan a registration drive. And you can register at any public library or at the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners, 69 W. Washington, Suite 600.
