Barbara Flynn Currie.

General Assembly Scholarship

General Assembly Scholarships are available from Rep. Currie to those who live within the 25th Representative District and plan to attend or are currently attending a state university or college within Illinois.

A total of eight one-year scholarships are awarded annually.  The scholarships may be renewable upon application, but renewal is not guaranteed.  The scholarships include tuition.  Neither the lab fees or dorm fees are covered, but a few other fees are.  Applications must be received in the District Service Office by June 15, 2010.

Applications are reviewed by Rep. Currie's Scholarship Committee.  The Scholarship Committee has established a set of criteria on which to grant the awards.  These criteria are included in the General Assembly Scholarship Packet.
